ADULT GROUP FITNESS
Grind Fitness offers a circuit style training program for people that like to work out in a group setting. All classes are constructed to be challenging and to expose you to different training methods.
YOUTH SPORTS PERFORMANCE
Jarred grew up here in Sitka, Alaska and from a very young age, had a passion for health, fitness, and an active outdoor lifestyle. His talent for sports and devoted strength training schedule led him through a successful high school athletic career as a football player, a two-time state champion in baseball (one as a player and one as the strength coach), and as a three-year high school varsity basketball starter.
Jarred later attended Oregon State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He interned with Oregon State Athletics and assisted in the training regimen of Oregon State's Division One baseball, football, and basketball teams.
After completing his internship with Oregon State, Jarred moved back to his hometown of Sitka to volunteer his time as the strength coach for Sitka High's swimming, women's basketball, softball, and baseball teams. Jarred helped the women's basketball team reach consecutive state title championships and helped the baseball team capture the 2017 4A state championship.
Jarred thanks many supportive community members for turning his dream of running a fitness center into reality. He looks forward to supporting youth and adult athletes in safely meeting their health and fitness goals.
